Now the LORD said to Abram, Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father's house, To the land which I will show you- Genesis 12:1 (NASB)
...He went without knowing where he was going- Hebrews 11:8 (NLT)
Fear says no, but your faith tells you to go. You need to be sure to go where God is leading you. Go in faith. Go with God. Abraham went out with God's Word. He didn't offer a debate. He didn't hold an inquest. He went out based on God's Word.
We need to do more like Abraham and start seeing that God is seeking to direct us, not dialogue with us. God is above us. God is not trying to be our biblical buddy. He's our Holy Father. Listen to Him and let Him lead you.
See where God is seeking to take you these days. It may require you to part ways with some old ways and some old buddies. See what God wants from you and for you. You may be called to go a great distance or to simple stand and speak out where you are today. The issue is that you need to go based upon Him telling you to go.
